Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew Foundation Elects 2026 Officers

On Saturday, December 13, 2025, the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew Foundation (EPBF) Board of Trustees at its yearend meeting unanimously re-elected its officers and elected Meropi Neamonitakis to the Board of Trustees.

The officers who were reelected to a one-year term effective January 1, 2026, were Anthony J. Limberakis, M.D., Chair; George E. Safiol, Vice Chair; Peter Kakoyiannis, Esq., Secretary; and Chris E. Tsamutalis, CPA, Treasurer.

In addition to the officers, the EPBF Board of Trustees include His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America, Patriarchal Representative, Rev. Fr. Alexander Karloutsos, Spiritual Advisor, Andreas D. Comodromos, CPA, Assistant Treasurer, Maria Allwin, Hon. B. Theodore Bozonelis, Frank D. Catrickes, John A. Catsimatidis, Thomas E. Constance, Esq., Carl Hollister, John S. Koudounis, Markos K. Lagos, Michael G. Psaros, Aphrodite Skeadas and Christopher Stratakis.

Mrs. Neamonitakis fills the vacancy that was created with the retirement of Archon Thomas S. Cappas, Esq., an outstanding member of the Board of Trustees who was responsible for bringing numerous FOUNDERS to the EPBF.

The Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew Foundation, a watershed initiative of the Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, is dedicated to achieving economic independence for the Ecumenical Patriarchate, so that it may fulfill its apostolic mission in perpetuity. It is a 501c(3) not-for-profit institution (January 17, 2019) and incorporated in the State of New York as a charitable institution (January 18, 2019).
