Saint Sophia Foundation
The Saint Sophia Foundation was established by Charles P. Skouras and other church visionaries upon the completion of St. Sophia Cathedral in 1952. It was organized to grow and protect the Cathedral’s assets and to provide continuing leadership through longer term Trustees.
The Foundation owns the Cathedral, Huffington Center, Saint Sophia Residence, all parking facilities, and a number of income producing properties near the Cathedral. The Huffington Center was completed in 2012 and includes offices, class and conference rooms, banquet facilities and a gymnasium/theatre.
The Saint Sophia Foundation Trustees are responsible for, and proud of, the improvements which have been made to the Saint Sophia Cathedral campus over the years.
