“In all that we do to support our beautiful Church, its traditions and its endeavors, we often overlook (or perhaps take for granted) our beloved Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople. But in our zeal to help our local parishes, Metropolis or Archdiocese, we should not forget the needs of our Patriarchate that not only has financial needs but is saddled with the unique and dire circumstances that challenge its mere existence on a daily basis! For this reason, it is so important that we remain vigilant stewards of this beautiful vestige of our Ancient Church and provide the necessary economic support to help ensure its survival.”
