Currently residing in my home town of Athens, after many years of work and study in New York and Worcester, Mass. Not quite retired, I am currently involved with start-ups and general entrepreneurship in the fields of ehealth, primary care 65+, silver economy and AI. Big data analytics and the Hellenic biotech hub (HBio) are also part of work. Greece, for all its shortcomings, is still pretty nice ….

“My mother was born in Samsun, Pontos, at what was then the Ottoman Empire. Some of her family made it to Greece and some had studied at Chalki. I remember Archbishop Iakovos once telling my parents and me, his thoughts about protecting the integrity of the Patriarchate and the Throne of St. Andrew. It is the least I can do in the memory of those who came before and to strengthen the Orthodox faith for those to come. I am sure many more will follow.”
