Dr. Nawaf Salameh, was a Romanian businessman of Syrian origin, Founder and Chairman of Alexandrion Group and NS & Sons Global Investment. He was born into an Orthodox family in Marmarita, Syria, in an area called “the Valley of the Christians.” In 1983 he moved to Romania to study medicine, earning his degree in 1991. In 2004, he earned a designation for national security and defense issues from the National Defense College of Romania, and in 2013 a Ph.D in Globalization Economics from Carol I National Defense University, Bucharest. He passed away on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025.
