Demitris and Georgia Halakos are members of Holy Trinity Parish in Wilmington, Delaware. Both have served on the Parish Council in various capacities, including as officers. Georgia Halakos has served as Parish Council President. They are active in Leadership 100, National Hellenic Society and are members of the Advisory Board of the PanHellenic Scholarship Foundation. Demitris Halakos is an Archon of Ecumenical Patriarchate and serves on the Board of the American Hellenic Institute. Georgia Halakos has served on both Metropolis and National Philoptochos Boards, is a past President of the Federation of Hellenic & American Societies of Philadelphia and also currently serves as a Board Member of the Odyssey Charter School. Mrs. Halakos is a principal owner of Tsionas Properties with commercial and residential real estate holdings throughout Delaware. Mr. Halakos is a founder and principal member of Halakos Management and its various subsidiaries with real estate holdings and restaurant/entertainment enterprises in Maryland, New Jersey, Delaware and southeastern Pennsylvania. As an accomplished businessman, he has served on the Governor of Delaware’s finance committee and held roles in the Delaware Restaurant Association and Delaware Chamber of Commerce. Demitris and Georgia reside in Wilmington, Delaware, together with their children, Billy and Dia.
