Dr. Dimitris Kyriazis is a native of Skyros, Greece. He emigrated to the United States at the age of 19 and is a graduate of University of Southern California and Chicago medical school. He trained in cardiovascular surgery at Baylor College of Medicine with Dr. Michael DeBakey. He has been practicing cardiac, vascular, lung and trauma surgery in Mobile, AL where he is an Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of South Alabama. His wife is Dr. Stephanie Grosz. She was raised in Dallas, Texas. She graduated from Duke University as an Angier B. Duke Scholar and trained at Baylor College of Medicine in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Electrophysiology. She practices interventional electrophysiology and structural heart disease in private practice in Mobile, Alabama. Drs. Kyriazis and Grosz have two wonderful and accomplished children, Alexandros and Amerisa. They belong to Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Mobile, Alabama.
