Tom and Susan have lived in Dubuque Iowa since 1973 after Tom’s discharge from the United States Navy. Tom is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who practiced in Dubuque Iowa and had academic appointments with the University of Iowa and University of Texas at Houston. Susan and Tom have two children; Rebecca Ann Milliman, an attorney in Chicago, Illinois and Peter Christopher Williams, an attorney in Dubuque, Iowa. We are blessed with four grandchildren. Tom has been a leader in the specialty of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery serving as President of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1997-1998. Tom continues to be involved with third world mission activities treating children with cleft lip and palate deformities.
