Mr. and Mrs. Gus and Gail Pablecas
Gus and Gail Pablecas are proud Stewards of the St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church in Palatine, IL, the Annunciation Cathedral (Chicago) and Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, Scottsdale, AZ. Gus was invested into the Order of St. Andrew the Apostle as an Archon of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in 2006 with the offikion of Ostiarios. In 2015, Gus was appointed by the Archon National Commander to the position of Archon Regional Commander for the Metropolis of Chicago, and in 2011, became the recipient of the Archdiocesan Medal of St. Paul.
With the life-long love and support of Gail, Gus has served on the Archdiocesan Council, Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Chicago Council as its First Vice President and has and continues to serve the Church in a variety of positions for over 35 years, including six terms as Parish Council President. Gus serves as a proud member on the Archon National Council and continues to hold varies positions within the Church and in the Hellenic communities.
Gus is a real estate asset entrepreneur and previously served as a Special Agent with the FBI. He currently serves as a Director for the Chicago Chapter of the Society of Former Special Agents of the FBI.
Gus and Gail have a blessed marriage of 49 years, have two children and 8 grandchildren. They split their time between Illinois and Arizona. Gus enjoys auto racing, equestrian activities, RVing and sporting clay sports.
