William S. Stavropoulos, former CEO and chairman, is chairman emeritus the Board of Directors of The Dow Chemical Company, Midland, Michigan.

His career with Dow spanned 39 years serving in a variety of positions in Research, Marketing and General Management.

He is married to Linda Theofel Stavropoulos. They have two children and six grandchildren.
