We are both born and raised in Constantinople. Married in 1962, we immigrated to Montreal and then later to Princeton, NJ. I am a graduate of Robert College, an American College in Constantinople and Sir George Williams University in Montreal. Worked in a pharmaceutical company as a research scientist and retired in 2000.

My wife Despina is a graduate of Ioakimion Parthenagogion in Constantinople and Concordia University in Montreal with a degree in Classical Studies. She served the parochial schools in Constantinople, Montreal and Trenton, NJ as a teacher of Greek language and culture for 33 years. She retired in 1996.
